POOP FOR THE CURE

SUPPORT INFANT GUT HEALTH BY DONATING YOUR BABY’S POOP

My baby biome

Because big discoveries can come in small (and stinky) packages

Participate in our clinical research study focused on infant gut health by donating a sample of your baby’s poop. Your baby’s contribution will help us develop treatments to support a healthy gut microbiome.

My Baby Biome

Participants receive $20, a special onesie, and a matching t-shirt for mom as a gesture of our appreciation for donating.

HOW DO I DONATE AND PARTICIPATE IN THE STUDY?

Order your collection kit

Once you sign up and answer a few key questions, we will verify your eligibility and send you an easy-to-use collection kit with prepaid shipping for your baby’s sample.

We will contact you via text and email when your child turns 6 months old, 1 year old, and every birthday thereafter until age 7 to ask some additional follow-up questions about any adverse immune events or potential allergies.

You’ll have the option to opt out any time and will receive your free onesie, t-shirt, and $20 regardless of whether you continue to participate after initial donation.

WHAT’S THE CONNECTION BETWEEN POOP AND GUT HEALTH?

My Baby Biome

Your baby’s gut contains helpful microbes (“good” bacteria) that support proper development of the infant immune system and allow them to digest complex sugars present in breast milk or formula.

My Baby Biome

Babies who have a healthy gut microbiome are less likely to develop allergies, autoimmune diseases, and gastrointestinal issues later in life.

My Baby Biome

Modern medical practices (including c-sections, formula feeding, and use of antibiotics) are thought to reduce the prevalence of these helpful microbes.

My Baby Biome

Analyzing the trillions of bacteria present in a stool sample helps us better understand the gut microbiome and develop ways to restore a healthy infant gut.

Donate your baby’s poop to join the movement and help advance infant gut microbiome research.
